IRR Ep.23 - Byron, Rob and Ron! The Hot Springs Indian Motorcycle Get Together, Gregory Polaris and the American Legion 911 Memorial

Listen Later

With it being Labor Day Weekend, many of us are thinking about where to go and what to do to get those last few miles out of the bike. This week, we're offering a couple choices for just such an occasion.

The Indian Motorcycle Owners Association is a non-profit group who hosts an annual gathering of Indian Owners in Hot Springs, Arkansas. A year ago it was the sight of a World Record Setting Parade of Indian motorcycles. In it's 7th year, the Get Together is growing and attracting riders from all over America. Byron Eifred is the President of the Association and organizer for the ride.

And, you can't go to Arkansas and not visit one of the best and most well-known stores in the country - Gregory Polaris. Rob Gregory has been a Polaris dealer for nearly 30 years and his store consistently ranks high among Indian dealers, nationwide. A great store, great people and incredible riding on the Arkansas backroads.

Then, it's off to Spokane to catch up with Ron Schoonover. He's heading up the American Legion Riders 911 Memorial Ride. Winding its way through eastern Washington and northern Idaho, you'd be hard pressed to find a more scenic and satisfying place to ride! This event has now attracted more than 160 riders!

Also this week, we're announcing some changes coming to "After Hours". Our monthly feature is now going to have a new format and a new co-host!
