🎙️ Welcome to the first-ever episode of UX Outpost — a design podcast where two friends, an AI assistant named Maya, and questionable deadlines collide.
In this episode, we gave ourselves a wild challenge:
Armed with prompts, snark, and a little chaos, we let Maya (our AI assistant) guide us through the process. Then we took those specs into tools like Claude and Lovable to generate prompts and build the UI in real time.
🧠 What you’ll see in this episode:
⏱️ CHAPTERS:
👥 Who are we?
🛸 Nolan (aka RadNolan) — I’m a content creator, design educator, and build-in-public creator of TaskTree. I’ve always worked in early-stage startups where design has real impact. I started posting in 2020, built a design & production agency, and yeah — I’m very cliqued up with the Figma team 😎
🔧 Andy Weir — not the sci-fi author. I’m a senior product designer at Feathr, simplifying complex tools for nonprofits. I also help run Tampa design meetups and post about product design, AI tools, and the chaos of name confusion.
We’re friends IRL, and this show is what happens when two designers who won’t shut up about design hit record.
