In this week's episode of LifeBeat, Genevieve Marnon, our Legislative Director, joins us to discuss assisted suicide. In December of 2023, a package of bills was introduced in the Michigan Senate that would legalize assisted suicide if passed. We discuss why Michiganders should oppose this dangerous practice and how it could impact people of color, disabled people and the elderly. We also discuss how other states that have legalized assisted suicide should be a cautionary tale to Michigan legislators.
