Lately, you may have noticed many signs and slogans proclaiming "Christ is King" on the Internet, across social media, shouted at political rallies, and adopted by groups on the conservative right, including younger political organizations like Turning Point USA.

It sounds fitting, doesn’t it? Christians would agree that Jesus surpasses any human ruler. He is greater than Allah, Muhammad, Buddha, or the Hindu deities. It can feel almost irreverent to doubt that Jesus currently reigns as King of the universe. However, we’ll examine this claim biblically, "Is Christ reigning as King right now?"
