In today's world of over-consumption and instant gratification, it's so easy to dive into self-development and think you're going to get standardised outcomes in week 4, month 5 or year 2 or any other milestone you can think of. I'm here to tell you that that's not the case. It's a constant, ongoing process that you need to keep working at and being patient with. I find that we like to do an awful lot of education and appear as if we're making progress, but in actual fact we're just avoiding doing the actual application of what we've learned - which is the important bit!
