This episode features a conversation with my guest–a long time friend–Terry St. Jean, J.D./M.B.A.

Terry is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs Asset Management's legal department working as a contract negotiator. He currently serves on the GSAM legal department's Diversity and Inclusion Committee and also serves as a coach/mentor to interns and associates. Terry joined Goldman Sachs in 2015; however, began his career as a contract negotiator at Castleton Commodities International (f/k/a Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy) in 2013. He has a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Middlebury College (were we both attended) and earned his J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut Schools of Law and Business.  Currently, Terry lives in Dallas, TX with his wife Noelle.

Most importantly, Terry is a brother and compatriot, both of us sharing Haitian ancestral roots. Terry is not a father, which makes this conversation even more meaningful and insightful, as we explore the "why" of fatherhood. This episode is layered with depth and significance, and I hope you appreciate listening to it as much as I appreciated having and recording it.
