#05 Many of us were told or we heard, God is distant because man sinned so man must do something to get back to God. Is God distant to you? If you had to describe God’s DISTANCE, what would you say? Is the distance dependent on life choices good or bad, beliefs, church attendance, Bible reading, good deeds? Perhaps you believe God is only distant from certain people because of what they did or do? How about, WHERE is God? Does distance and whereabouts have anything to do with sin? What do sin and repentance really mean in the Greek? Get ready for a surprise in their meanings! In truth God is all about extreme closeness and we have nothing to do with making Him close. He seems distant because we really don't understand who God really is! If you wrestle with sin, worry, guilt, fear, condemnation, or are deluded about where God is really, then listen in. He’s bigger, better, and closer than we’ve been told!
