Hello friend,
On this week's episode, I dive into 3 tips that you can use if you are experiencing a time in life where you are feeling LOST. As I recorded this episode, we 7 weeks and 1 day into our striking for safe staffing at my hospital. And, to be quite honest, many of us are feeling "LOST".
As someone who has worked full time for the last 24 years (yep, I had my 24 year nursing work anniversay on 09/13/23...kind of a mixed emotion time!), not working (and, therefore, not having my usual "routine") over these past 7 weeks has been unsettling. There are feelings of sadness, anger, resentment, confusion, unease and yes, feeling lost.
I know that we were not meant to do this life alone, and that it truly takes a village to be able to reach all of our goals and THRIVE in this one, beautiful life that we have been gifted. So, as always, I hope this helps you in some way; and if you have ever experienced these feelings in the past, maybe you can be someone's shoulder to cry on that is currently feeling this way. You can show them that there is light at the end of a dark tunnel.
Be well,
XOXO,
Katie
