Golden Visa holders in Dubai must renew health insurance annually for themselves and their dependents. This requirement stems from Law No. (11) of 2013 Concerning Health Insurance in the Emirate of Dubai, which mandates health insurance coverage for all residents, including Golden Visa holders.

Sponsor's Obligations

According to Article 11 of the law:

• Sponsors must enroll individuals they sponsor in health insurance if not covered by an employer.
• Sponsors must bear the full cost of the insurance and cannot charge beneficiaries for it.
• Insurance must remain valid throughout the residence or visit period.
• Sponsors are responsible for emergency health services if a sponsored individual lacks coverage.
• A health insurance card must be provided to all insured persons.
• A valid health insurance policy is required for visa issuance or renewal.
