In the USA we are covered by American Disabilities Act Amended starting in 2008 if you are HOH and the Deaf have been covered since 1990. Not all who are deaf use signing and need the same accommodations as the hard of hearing or HOH like closeness for lip reading or preferable closed captioning.
Listen for the definition of disability and then let us know if you can relate. And, what your business or organization would like to change to be more inclusive and compliant for this 20% with hearing loss. That are usually even still in school or working.
