It's easy to think about life in a self-focused way. We don't mean to be selfish or self-centered but we fall into the trap of looking at things and people for what they can do for us. In this passage Habakkuk reminds us that everything in this world ultimately belongs to God and we will be held accountable for whether or not we lived for him and his glory.
