Is It Better to Memorize Your Webinar Presentation or Use Notes? | Keynote Clarity for Thought Leaders with Jon Cook Flash Briefing

Listen Later

Webinars are still some of the most effective tools for generating sales into coaching programs, mastermind groups, online communities, and memberships. One of the challenges I hear a lot of coaches talk about when it comes to webinars is how to go through the content. Do I use notes? Do I not use notes? Do I have to memorize parts of my webinar or all of my webinar?
There’s good news - you don’t have to memorize your content. How I present my webinars is with a dual screen using Zoom. I set up the webinar as an event through Zoom and then, I share my screen (my second screen) with the slides on it. What my audience never sees is that I have my presenter’s screen on my first screen that has snapshots of my slides with my notes right in front of me.
It looks like I’m looking right into the camera, but just below the camera lens is where I can see my webinar content and engage with the chat throughout my content. So, if you’re nervous about your next webinar, try to use a second screen and give it a test with your notes on your first screen while sharing your second screen with your slides.
Have a great day and remember, your Message matters!
