Today's text comes from  Matthew 26:30-35.
When we look at what is written about the events of this day (Matt. 26:17-75), we can easily focus just on the Lord’s supper, but if we do so, we may miss the broader arc that encompasses this day’s events and all the way to Jesus’ death on Good Friday.
