The simple answer is yes, it is safe to breastfeed with food poisoning. In fact, very rarely should you stop nursing your baby—but we’ll get to those cases later. some mothers feel that they should breast pump & dump the milk so that the baby isn’t affected – this is not the case. you do not need to give your baby formula - you can and should continue to breastfeed normally with food poisoning.
