In this week's episode of The Christian Wellbeing Show, host Michelle Simpson and co-host Stuart explore the topic of missionary work and challenge the notion that 'everyone is a missionary.'
They discuss their personal experiences and clarify the distinctives, duties, and challenges that come with being a missionary. The episode delves into the importance of preserving the true meaning of the term 'missionary' to ensure proper support, training, recognition for those dedicated to mission work and consequently the wellbeing of God’s Church.
Key points include financial support mechanisms, the emotional and logistical complexities of living abroad, cross-cultural training, and the potential consequences of diluting the term. This in-depth discussion aims to foster better understanding and support for missionaries within the Christian community.
