This is a daily musing from my car as I head to work. I am pulling on the idea that if language is a social construct and seems to be used to promote and sustain social norms...then the idea that language is a social construct is itself a social construct used to promote and sustain its own power and authority. Meaning that the statement itself is not or cannot be truth but rather the act of social manipulation through positions of authority. It is the thing it seeks to undermine.
