Repeatedly people use the argument about Sodom and Gomorrah to condemn lgbtq+ people. And it is for that reason that I and many others feel like we have to be silent about being lgbtq+. It's still permeating in our society and it's still leaking into my therapy program that I go to. At least two clients openly in group have said that they "don't want to be around those people; they're amoral..." . This frightens me and this still indicates that much work needs to be done to create a safe society for lgbtqs. The following describes an analysis of the two opinions of Sodom and Gomorrah one advocating for lgbtq and the other justifying condemnation against lgbtqs.
