Hello, today I'm going to be talking about is Linkedin Good for Affiliate Marketing. LinkedIn is an amazing tool for affiliate marketing.Â
I would say the same about YouTube, Facebook and even Twitter. Let's just talk about Linkedin. The first step is your profile. You profile is very big in Linkedin and if you are an affiliate marketer what do you want to promote on your Linkedin profile?
Yes, you want to promote your list. Every single thing you do in affiliate marketing is to build your list. Your list is everything. Next, you want to only add friends that are in your niche. How do you do this? One easy way that I found is to use my mobile phone.Â
Then in the search bar get as targeted as you can. My audience is people in affiliate marketing I could go through affiliate networks like Clickbank, Jvzoo or something like that.Â
Then I click on the button next to the search bar, which is the filter button. Click on people and 3rd+ connection. 3rd degree connection are people that you don't really know. First degree are people that have already accepted your invitation and second degree or people that know someone in your first degree.Â
Just keep adding people until Linkedin stops you. The cool thing about Linkedin is you can have 30,000 people in your network, unlike Facebook where you can only have 500.Â
Some of those people will check out your profile and go on your list. Another way to do affiliate marketing is to directly promote something on the news feed. There is a nifty way to do this. You don't want to just say join my list and click this link.Â
It's good to include a story or make in entertaining and how to promote a link is whole other topic. You also can't include the link in the feed. What I do is break up the link, so it's not clickable and thus does not get hurt in the algorithm. All these platforms, don't want you to leave their platform, just like Facebook you have to be a little creative.Â
If you post a link then Linkedin will not show that post to very many people. They don't want people to leave Linkedin.
I'll use a link shortening service called Bitly. Then when I post the Bitly that leads to my optin page to get someone on my list I will put a space between the dot and the Bit. Next to it I will write remove the space to create the link. This bypasses the filter and enables the post to be seen by more people.Â
The third way I use Linkedin for affiliate marketing is with articles. What I will do is create a video on a topic then use the written word for the article. I'll include pictures, videos, quotes and make it as entertaining as I can.Â
At the end of the article I will promote my optin page. The fourth page is with groups. What I have found to be the best way to use groups is by giving. I will write a short ebook / report and give it away to the group.Â
The ebook should be related to the group and at the end of the ebook include a link to my optin page.Â
Everything I do is to send someone to an optin page and thus get someone on my list. The list is everything in affiliate marketing. I've been doing affiliate marketing for 10 years. There is 1 person who I honestly feel you should learn from. He is the best of the best when it comes to this business.Â
Whether you are brand new to this business or a 10 year veteran I guarantee you are going to pick up a few things to help you make more money in less time.Â
