“Transforming and Thriving," hosted by 3 best friends (Brooke, Stacie, and Neelia), is a podcast dedicated to showcasing the stories of resilient women who have persevered through pivotal transitions and/or traumas. In our first ever episode, we interview Neelia Heydt, who, after a brain cancer diagnosis, has dedicated herself to the mission of working less and living more. With her unique perspective and personal journey, Neelia openly shares her experience on how she is practicing gratitude and thriving in the wake of several grueling years filled with doctor visits, treatments, and major lifestyle changes. Neelia’s unwavering optimism and candid reflections offer an inspiring glimpse into how she has turned challenges into opportunities for growth and fulfillment.
Neelia Heydt, a former realtor and dear friend of the podcast hosts, is also the assistant behind the curtain and microphones at Transforming and Thriving. After a successful real estate career and a challenging battle with cancer, she retired early to focus on health and well-being. She is grateful to live in beautiful San Clemente with her supportive husband and cheerful dog. Her days are filled with travel adventures, volunteering, and embracing the joys of life. This new chapter is all about cherishing each moment and giving back to the community that has supported her. She embodies humility and authenticity in all she does.
