As states legalize marijuana for medical and recreational purposes, our teens and pre-teens are more susceptible than ever to falling in with this increasingly accepted culture.

The parents I meet are often in denial that their teen would ever experiment with intoxicating substances. The thought that their son or daughter would turn to something like pot as a coping mechanism, is inconceivable.

But here’s the reality—kids are experimenting with drugs! And the fortunate kids that attend private Christian schools are not immune.

I sincerely hope your teen is not among the staggering number of kids turning to drugs. But we’re past the point of assuming.

Moms, dads, don’t ignore the temptations our kids face. Look out for drugs!
