That's a good question...and there aren't a lot of really good answers but we could draw the conclusion from the research that the only answer is, YES!

In this episode, we’re talking about pet food….specifically dog food. If you’re like me, you like animals, and whether you're a dog person, cat person, bird person, fish person and horse person...we love our pets.

We love them so much so, that according to a survey done by the American Pet Products Association, we spent $29 billion on pet food in 2017 alone.

Despite how much we are spending on them, both cats and dogs are dying from diseases that are associated with being human. Kidney failure, diabetes, heart disease and cancer. In fact, dogs are dying from cancer at an alarming rate.

The question is....WHY? Is there something in the food? Are dog and cat food brands being held accountable? Are the treats we're rewarding them with laced with cancer causing chemicals?
