In Matthew 5:27-28 there is a famous statement of Jesus which reads, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." As a result of Jesus' wording in this passage and other scriptures about divorce being scriptural on the grounds of "adultery" (i.e., Matt. 19:9), many people question whether or not a spouse looking at porn is scriptural ground for divorcing them.
