There are times at which the church is called to judge, and other times where it would be better not to judge. But, we are called not to be a "respecter of persons" when it comes to judging. By a biblical standard, some sins are more egregious in the sight of God than others. We fall into a trap when we go with the world's standard of judging—whether it be the sexual sins of Martin Luther King Jr., or those of Ravi Zacharias.
