We get this question all the time and it goes something like this: "Walker, Allen Bradley PLC's support MQTT. How can you say Rockwell Automation is not open? I can easily put a gateway and connect to anything I want." In this episode, Walker Reynolds answers the question, "Is Rockwell Automation Open?" As of right now, the short answer is no they are not open.
