Building Confidence

Is Social Media Affecting How You View Yourself? - With Dr Victor Mosconi

Listen Later

In this week's episode, we welcome back our Impostor Syndrome expert, Dr Victor Mosconi.  Dr Mos  joins me to talk about how social media often affects the way we view our bodies.

Is comparing ourselves to images we see on social media affecting our self-esteem?
It is only natural to look at other people and wish we could look like them or have their lives.  However, we must not forget that people are only ever going to post their best photos.

For example, when we look at celebrities, we are seeing them at their very best. There is a tendency to compare the best parts of them to the worst parts of ourselves.

We ask, is it time to take a break from comparing yourself to the people you see online?

More wise words from the founder of Transformation Haven Coaching, Dr Victor Mosconi.
