To answer that, it’s important to make the distinction between the BEST time to sell and the most POPULAR time to sell.

Spring is definitely the most popular time to sell because the conditions are favorable for both sellers and buyers; the warm weather makes it easier to showcase and make upgrades to your home, everything can usually be completed before summer vacation and school registration, and it’s much easier to move in April or May.

But when it comes to The Best Time to Sell...that’s always Right Now. I say that because right now, you know what the market conditions are, you know what your home value is, and we know who is actively looking for a house in your neighbourhood.

Next month, or even tomorrow any of those things could change, so it’s best to go with what you know.
