What Christ did in dying on the cross is the central element of the Christian faith. In 1 Corinthians chapter 1, God tells us that the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but that God uses that foolishness to shame the wise. If something so central to our faith is foolishness to those who are perishing, Should we seek to alleviate the foolishness or should we embrace it?
