We all have been taught that it was round and many photos indicating it to be so.  But the last several years, a somewhat heated discussion and the building of the case have been taking place that the earth may be flat and we have been involved in a lie.  There is also a strong belief that the clarification of the earth being flat instead of being round would change things profoundly.
