My prayers go out to the family of those elementary children we lost today. May God heal and be with those families. This should have never happened. Let’s monitor our children, youth who are still in school. May God protect our teachers who have to show up to work. May God be with them. A woman saved several lives when she shot a man who opened fire on a crowd of people with a semi-automatic weapon.
According to DailyMail, the woman, whose identity is being kept private, had been at a graduation party in Charleston, West Virginia, when Dennis Butler began shooting at the group of about 40 people. On Wednesday, May 25, the incident happened near the Vista View Apartment Complex. Police spokesperson Tony Hazelett said the incident stemmed from Dennis being told to slow down while driving through an area where children were playing at the party.ORLANDO, Fla. — A 10-year-old Florida girl shot and killed a woman who had gotten in a fight with her mother, authorities said Monday. They took the girl and her mother into custody Monday night following the fatal shooting of Lashun Rodgers, 41, outside an apartment complex, according to a news release from the Orlando Police Department.
They released the girl into the Florida Department of Children and Families' custody. The girl's mother, Lakrisha Isaac, 31, was arrested on charges of manslaughter by culpable negligence, child neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and aggravated assault with a firearm.
