With the help of Rev. Kim Goddard,  we address the critical shift needed within the United Methodist Church from a 'Survive' mentality, characterized by resistance to change and adherence to tradition, to a 'Thrive' mentality that embraces growth, innovation, and community engagement. It underscores the importance of moving beyond mere survival to actively seeking ways to engage with and serve the broader community, highlighting the need for the church to adapt to contemporary challenges while maintaining its core mission.
