What is a Break Point (BP)?
Break Point (BP) is a way to figure out how many Secret Lair drops you need to buy for one to be completely free (because we all want at least one for our own collection, right?). Here's how it works:
1️⃣ Add up the value of the cheapest Foil and Non-Foil versions of each card in the drop.
2️⃣ Subtract fees, shipping, and the cost of the drop to find your Net Profit.
3️⃣ Divide the total profit by the cost of one drop to get your Break Point.
🔍 Example:
If a drop costs $40 and has a Net Profit of $80, you only need to buy 2 drops for one to cover the cost of the other. That's a BP 2.
If the Net Profit is $55, you'd need to buy 4 drops (because 3 sales at $55 each would cover the $160 total cost). That makes it a BP 4.
💡 Pro Tip: Prices usually dip right after shipping, but they often recover or even increase after 10-16 months. So patience can pay off!
