Of course there is, especially if the trial is not meant for you! But to escape all trials is an impossibility, for whether we like it or not, someone else is in control and that isn’t you! So, might as well embrace it, factor it in and take all you can to make it work for you. No Olympics without the Trials; no “ultimate triumphs” without our share of challenges.
