According to this passage there is not only a real devil but we are warned to be prepared to stand firm against his schemes( methods or tactics). Satan and his demons stand in opposition to the things of God and all believers who are born of God. Yes, we are in a war where we can not see our enemy. Therefore, we need to be wise in the scriptures to understand how we are to dress and stand against our enemy.
