In Western culture, we hold the belief that once you reach a certain level of professional accomplishment and financial security, you'll achieve happiness and fulfillment. Grind it out long enough in the law firm, in med school, on the trading floor, or at the construction site and you'll get there.
 
But many of us reach the place of "having it all" and we're not happy or fulfilled.
