When you want something very deeply, how do you know if it is the result of a promise of God or God’s voice versus your own desires speaking?  The goal is that our desire align with God’s desires for us; but that is not always the case. Sometimes we can even want something that God does have for us but we lack the patience to allow it to happen in His perfect timing.
