Overview: Are you too naive about your lack of belief in Jesus- There is something so wrong with your heart that even if you have all of the information you need about Jesus, you will still avoid believing in Him. There is not a single heart that is not saturated with this wickedness--this deliberate suppression of the truth to our own destruction. In fact, the Pharisees' failure to believe in Jesus was a rejection of God's purpose for them. What a sad reality. This can happen to you too- Some people doubt whether unbelief is even a sin. It feels better to portray an unbeliever as a helpless victim. To the contrary, unbelief is the mother of all sins. It is proud. It is disrespectful. It is disobedient. It reeks of ingratitude. For a person who will not believe, nothing God does is good enough. God has accommodated people in an astounding variety of ways, yet billions of unrepentant sinners still oppose Him. If you are an unbeliever, you are not neutral toward the truth. You will reject God until God has mercy on you and breathes life into your dead heart. This is what you need. Without seeing this problem, you have no real solution.
