In this episode we will discuss how the Department of Labor (DOL) is making employers give backpay to employees who were denied a paid leave of absence under the Families First Coronavirus Act (FFCRA).
If you asked for paid leave to self-quarantine or because your child's day care or school is closed, you need to contact the DOL right away.
You should NOT experience retaliation, discrimination, or even wrongful termination because you requested a leave of absence.
Thank you DOL for enforcing this. If that is you, don't be discouraged, your back pay may be on the way.
