Tonight I am going to discuss the stunning link between childhood trauma and the chronic physical diseases people develop as adults, as well as social, mental health and emotional problems. If you, or someone you know, suffers from heart disease, lung cancer, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, depression, violence, being a victim of violence, alcoholism, drug abuse, obesity, rheumatoid arthritis, suicide ... this show could shed a light on the situation. Traumatized people don't need to be re-traumatized (talk therapy), they need compassion, someone they can trust, and a safe setting to heal. We must, as a society and as individuals, stop judging, blaming, and shaming the "wounded children" of the world; regardless of their chronological age.
