Today, those of us who declare ourselves as being Christian (believers) get all kinds of doctrinal teachings preached to us. We get a word about how to be prosperous, how to get great power, how the church is failing, etc. Many of our doctrinal preachers have become motivational speakers (encouraging us to tell our neighbor this or that, when to say amen, or speak this way or that).
