Luke chapter 13, verses 2 to 5, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'Do you suppose that these Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans, because they have suffered such things? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.'"

In other words, what Jesus is saying is that unless you turn from seeking security in something other than what God has offered through His Son, you will likewise perish. Your place of worship, if it is not true, will not protect you in the coming days. There has to be something that comes into your life and bears fruit that can only come from the inward dwelling presence of God. That is what the Lord is looking for. Not by human effort, but only by God.
