In the seventy-second episode of The Truth with Tal & Isaac, the boys are back in the studio after some time off. Sports were at a minimum the past month, which gave the fellas time to improve their podcasting skills, mainly Tal because he needs it most.
They start with some off the tops... reintroducing fan-favourite Thomas Linnell to the show, the sad passings of the legendary Bill Russell and Vin Scully, the KD drama lingers, and a brief rundown of what the loyal listeners missed while the boys were gone. The first main topic is brought to us by Isaac's nerdiness about the NBA. He has created a mega list of the most valuable trade assets in the NBA, a 1 through 64 player ranking, with honorable mentions. Age has a large role in this, as well as contract length and yearly salary. For example, would you rather have Jarrett Allen for $20 million a year or Pascal Siakam for $34.25 a year? Isaac unveils his list with Tom and Tal chiming in, correcting some spots they respectfully, or disrespectfully disagree with and trying to sway Isaac to change his list. After all that, they talk about the mess that the Detroit Tigers are currently in and the firing of one Al Avila. More importantly, they go in on how a peaceful protest miraculously occurred in and around Comerica Park... including making it on TV and getting some love from Barstool Detroit. Huge shoutout to the Allsops. Lastly, Tom brings in some special topics the three fellas run through.
Thanks for the support everyone and thank you as always for listening to us talk nonsense for a bit. Expect lots of football content coming up!
