It’s Monday, Let’s raise a glass to the beginning of another week. It’s time to unscrew, uncork or saber a bottle and let’s begin Exploring the Wine Glass! Today, we return to Winephabet Street. The letter of the day is I and we are discussing the grape variety, Isabella.

These are exciting episodes for me, because prior to setting up the schedule for this season, I had never heard of this grape variety. So it was a great learning experience for me too! We had hybrid grape specialist Steven Casscles on to answer all of our questions. Sadly, we were not able to acquire a bottle to taste, but Steve did a fantastic job of describing its qualities, both in the glass and in the vineyard.
