This chapter has the tendency to make you bummed. But as you begin to study these passages, the words, context, you see hope weaved in.

1 There is Hope when things look hopeless

When studying prophecy we need to keep in mind that there is near and far fulfillment.

God would have a fulfillment take place in the time of the prophet but there was also a deeper fulfillment.

We are currently at a place in time where the things prophesied by Isaiah can happen in our day.
