The Sovereign God who has the ability to be a dictator, who has the ability to control everything, instead hears us when we seek him. Not only does he hear us, but he also identifies with our hurts, wounds, and suffering. God's purpose for prayer is so that we would know him. A sovereign God means that he planned before the beginning of time to hear us and he will satisfy us.
