Isaiah 53:4 – Matthew 8:17 Took our infirmities and diseases
Isaiah 49:6; 42:1-6 – Matthew 12:14-21 Mission would include Gentiles.
Isaiah 61:1 and 2 – Luke 4:16-21 His ministry foretold
Isaiah 29:18; 35:5 and 6 – Luke 7:20-22 Ministry would include miracles.
Isaiah 49:7 – John 15:24 and 25 Hated without a cause
Isaiah 50:6 – Matthew 26:67; 27:30 Spat upon and beaten
Isaiah 53:1-3 – Mark 10:33 and 34 Despised and forsaken
Isaiah 53:4-6 – John 19:7 Die for our sins
Isaiah 53:5 – 1Peter 2:24 and 25 By His stripes we are healed.
Isaiah 53:7 – Matthew 27:12-14; Acts 8:31-35 Silent before his accusers
Isaiah 53:9 – Mark 15:42-46 Buried in a rich man’s tomb
Isaiah 53: 8-11 – Matthew 28:1-9 Return from the dead
Isaiah 11:1-10 Since all these specific details have been fulfilled, we have confidence that those prophecies about His return will be accomplished as well.
Hebrew 4:14-16 We also have great confidence that he is now our high priest
