During the month of December we are going to explore an ancient prophecy from Isaiah 9:1-7.

At the heart of the prophecy is the Messiah's arrival, and we recognise its fulfilment in Jesus, the Messiah who began his ministry in Galilee, embodying that light (Matthew 4:15-16).

Written around 700 BC amidst looming threats, this passage transforms despair into the dawn of God's eternal kingdom through the Saviour's birth.
