Even in an improving economy new golf course construction looks like a less than booming field but opportunities to improve existing courses are almost endless. While most in the industry equate renovation with big budget works, Oklahoma based Colton Craig says it doesn't need to be so and hopes to be at the forefront of a wave of architects specialising in what he calls "Blue Collar Architecture" - course renovation on a  shoestring budget. Colton joins the podcast to discuss that concept plus his obsession wth Perry Maxwell.

Its been quite the journey but after 125 episodes the iSeekGolf Podcast will cease publishing from today. Changes at the ISG parent company have seen a shift in direction for the website and, at this stage, the podcast will not be part of the immediate offering. However, don't delete the feed from your favourite app as the podcast may start again in the future. His father is one of the game's most revered exponents but Andrew Thomson's life has been about much more than being the son of five time Open champion Peter. A former federal minister in the Howard government and long time resident of Japan, Andrew is a lawyer and author in his own right whose writings on golf and politics show a flair not completely unlike his father. He joins Episode 124 of the iSeekGolf podcast to talk all things golf from his dad's legacy to the ongoing distance debate.
