It's an ambitious title but the events depicted in Mark Frost's The Greatest Game Ever Played live up to the headline. In 1913, as the game was still taking hold in America, a 20-year-old virtual unknown amateur outplayed the game's two biggst stars to capture the US Open and put golf on front pages across the country. What Fracis Oumet achieved at Brookline Country Club in Massacheusetts was beyond remarkable and Frost's telling of the story is first class. Hosts Rod Morri and Adrian Logue are joined by golf writer Tony Dear for the sixth installment of the ISG Book Club which also features a first for the show - an accompanying movie review! Special Guest: Tony Dear.
