There's never been a time when the golf consumer had access to more content. Between podcasts, blogs, websites, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and more, there's almost no end to stories about every facet of the game. But is the game better for it or is most of it really the same content just dressed a little differently? That was the question The Golf News Net founder Ryan Ballangee posed on Twitter last week and we liked it so much we got him on the show to expand on it.

Its been quite the journey but after 125 episodes the iSeekGolf Podcast will cease publishing from today. Changes at the ISG parent company have seen a shift in direction for the website and, at this stage, the podcast will not be part of the immediate offering. However, don't delete the feed from your favourite app as the podcast may start again in the future. In the meantime, for those who have enjoyed the company of regular hosts Adrian Logue and Rod Morri, head to TalkinGolf.com and check out the new show they will be co-hosting with Derek Duncan of Feed The Ball fame. The Good-Good Golf Podcast will bring the same eclectic mix of news and topics as the ISG Podcast always has just at a new home. His father is one of the game's most revered exponents but Andrew Thomson's life has been about much more than being the son of five time Open champion Peter. A former federal minister in the Howard government and long time resident of Japan, Andrew is a lawyer and author in his own right whose writings on golf and politics show a flair not completely unlike his father. He joins Episode 124 of the iSeekGolf podcast to talk all things golf from his dad's legacy to the ongoing distance debate.
