One of the biggest issues facing golf clubs around the world is a  business model that no longer seems to appeal to the next generation of golfers. With choices many and varied and time tight, the idea of committing to just one clubs is not palatable to many new players. But a business in America has taken an age old golf idea - Scotland's golfing societies - and made it into a modern business. On this week's episode we chat with NewClub Golf co-founder Matt Considine about a concept that is fast gaining traction in the US and could one day be popular around the world.

Its been quite the journey but after 125 episodes the iSeekGolf Podcast will cease publishing from today. Changes at the ISG parent company have seen a shift in direction for the website and, at this stage, the podcast will not be part of the immediate offering. However, don't delete the feed from your favourite app as the podcast may start again in the future. In the meantime, for those who have enjoyed the company of regular hosts Adrian Logue and Rod Morri, head to TalkinGolf.com and check out the new show they will be co-hosting with Derek Duncan of Feed The Ball fame. His father is one of the game's most revered exponents but Andrew Thomson's life has been about much more than being the son of five time Open champion Peter. A former federal minister in the Howard government and long time resident of Japan, Andrew is a lawyer and author in his own right whose writings on golf and politics show a flair not completely unlike his father. He joins Episode 124 of the iSeekGolf podcast to talk all things golf from his dad's legacy to the ongoing distance debate.
